Executive team

Allan Benchetrit has over 20 years of experience in the Information, Communication and Technology industry. He began his career in 1987 as an account manager for Dun & Bradstreet before receiving a graduate degree in business. He went on to hold sales, marketing, and executive management positions at HP, Oracle, and Wysdom, and is co-founder of Vantrix. Allan holds a BA in Political Science from Concordia University and an MBA from the John Molson School of Business in Montreal.

Jean Mayrand has over 20 years of experience working in the field of telecommunications and venture capital. He began his career as a Professional Instructor at the École Polytechnique of Montreal and at the Centre de Recherche Informatique de Montreal. Jean has held technical and executive management positions at Bell Canada, Telsoft Ventures, Evolucom (later acquired by Wysdom Inc.), and is co-founder of Vantrix. Jean holds a B.Eng in Software and Hardware Engineering and an MScA in Software Engineering, both from the École Polytechnique in Montreal.

Patrick Lopez has over 10 years of experience in product and technology introduction. He joined Vantrix from Airwide Solutions, where he was responsible for Product Strategy and Planning. Prior to Airwide, he held similar positions at 724 Solutions, Redknee, Philips and LogicaCMG-Acision. He has been a representative to OMA and 3GPP and was the chairman of the MMS IOP group. He has collaborated on reports from industry analysts including Frost & Sullivan, Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank and has written articles in collaboration with the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and others. Patrick holds an MBA in Corporate Management from IAE University in Nice, and a Bachelor Degree in Marketing Strategy.

Robert Fillmore has over 20 years experience in the Information, Communication and Technology industry specifically within the telecoms focusing on Customer Management, Billing, and Operational Support Systems. Most recently, he was Vice-President for EMEA at Vallent where he helped position the company as the leading vendor of Service Management systems in the region. Prior to this he held executive positions as Vice-President and Managing Director for EMEA at SPL, and Vice-President of EMEA at Architel Systems. Robert's earlier career was in sales management for Information Technology companies CableData, Wang and Cray Systems.

As Vice President of Sales, Charles leads Vantrix sales efforts in the Americas, managing relationships with carriers, strategic partners and content aggregators in the region. With over 11 years of sales, business development and marketing expertise, Charles has a proven track record in the high tech/software industry. Prior to joining Vantrix, Charles was a major contributor to the success of OZ Communications, SchlumbergerSema and Sema in both North America and Europe. Charles holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Business Decision Analysis from the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK.

Elie Daher has over 12 years of experience in financial management. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, with tenures in their Assurance and Business Advisory Services and Mergers & Acquisitions groups. Elie also worked as a financial advisor for a start-up company in the digital media business, where he implemented an end-to-end Finance function. Before joining Vantrix, he spent over 6 years at Bell Canada, the country's largest communications company, most recently as Director of Corporate Finance. Elie holds a graduate diploma in public accountancy from McGill University in Montreal, and designations as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst.

Robert Héroux has over 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He began his career at Bell Canada, in a software development role. He then moved to Nortel where he held positions of increasing responsibility in Manufacturing Engineering, Customer Service, Systems Engineering, Verification Engineering and Product Line management in both Digital Radio and Optical Networks divisions. Before joining Vantrix in early 2005, he worked as a consultant in the field of system integration IT/Telecom and multimedia. Robert holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the École Polytechnique in Montreal.

Doug Pratt has over twenty years experience in the wireless, telecommunications and technology industry. He began his career developing switching software for AT&T and Philips spending two years at Bell Laboratories in Chicago. He then went to work in the wireless industry for Microtel in the UK before joining AirTouch International in 1992. He worked in their international wireless operations in Portugal and Japan before becoming CTO for Airtouch's GSM network in Romania. He has also held senior leadership positions at Teltier Technologies, Visto and Casero. Doug holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of St. Andrews and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
